Hey guys! So Saturday of last week I got the chance to attend the Style Collective pool party hosted by Nikki Arnold AKA TheFashionableAccountant. Big thank you to her and her team for letting me be a part of this and pulling off such an amazing event. Every little detail from decor to food was very well put together. I had a fantastic time and got the chance to meet fellow local bloggers. We discussed all things blogging, played games, snapped pictures, stuffed our faces :p and even got to chat with some really wonderful brands such as Fynd Fashion, Lola Trixx Jewelry, 2 Luxe Ladies and Batey Girls. There was a photographer at the event, Rae Breda. Super talented and down to earth girl. I will showcase some of the pictures she took and link her website so you guys can check her out as well as all the brands. When I first started blogging a couple months back I felt somewhat alone. It’s really refreshing to realize that I am not. The little knowledge I have about blogging has been trough research, but I’m learning so much more from all these magnificent women that I’m engaging and making friendships with. The blogging community is nothing like I imagined it years ago when the idea of blogging first crossed my mind. It is in no way competitive and let me explain what I mean by this. Of course there is competition in almost everything, good or bad. To think it doesn’t exist in any form is to live in a fantasy world. However from what I have witnessed so far, the competition is healthy, promoting growth and enhancing creativity. Bloggers are so incredibly supportive of each other. Everyone in this community wants each other to win, to grow and make it whatever that means to each of us in regards of long-term goals. Bloggers/influencers always compliment and root for each other, collaborate and work on events together, suggest tips and ideas, offer mentoring to those who are just starting. Bloggers are those super down to earth, like-minded individuals you share so many interests with that you wish you could have befriended growing up (if you are into blogging of any type). At least that is my experience so far and I really pray it stays that way.
With that being said, thank you to those bloggers I have had the chance to get to know in my blogging journey so far. Simply for making it easy for my super shy self to chat with you and get to know you and sharing some of your knowledge with me. You are all beautiful, strong and inspiring women that will reach every single goal you set for yourselves. Lets keep growing, supporting and rooting for each other.

One of the brands present at the event and showcasing their work was Lola Trixx who creates and designs her own custom jewelry pieces and also repairs any damaged ones. Check her out and her unique pieces in the link below:
Another accessories and jewelry brand was 2 Luxe Ladies. They have an online boutique that you can check out in the link below:
Batey Girls was another jewelry brand at the party. The founders are part of the non-profit Batey Rehab Project and they have provided jobs and stability to women living in a poor community exposed to sex trafficking named Milton in the Dominican Republic. “They decided to engage the young girls, only 12 and 13 at the time, in their jewelry training programs led by design students from the United States. They allowed the training program to organically evolve into an entirely new program that not only empowered the women and young girls of this community, but put an end to the trafficking in this household.” Check their website out for more information and to see their amazing pieces created by these brave and courageous girls/women.
A specialty clothing boutique called Fynd Fashion located here in Orlando, Florida was also present at the event. A big thank you to them as I won a gift certificate that I can’t wait to use. I have joined their affiliate program so please feel free to use my discount code “KIARA” on their entire site. Check their website out and their amazing styles:
Please check these amazing brands and support them. If you are a blogger/influencer don’t hesitate to contact them for collaborations.
Once again a big thank you to Nikki for hosting such a wonderful event. I hope you guys enjoyed. Have a wonderful day!
